Personal Interstitial
Here is what I'm calling my "first draft" of my Personal Interstitial Project. I say "first draft" with such hesitance because I'm not sure if I will be able to tweak it before the project review tomorrow.
I'm mostly satisfied with how it is looking at the moment, but definitely would like to spend some more time fleshing it out with additional nudges, edits, sound effects, etc.
I think your chosen effect - the light rays behind the text? - is really cool. I think instead of having so much descriptive text in such a short amount of time, it might help to do a short phrase or something simpler and really focus in on that one effect on a piece of text. This focus could help get a shorter, more legible message to the viewer. Still, I think your type was fun to watch and shows off the skills you've developed in After Effects!
ReplyDeleteI think the overall theme of some sort of "1 on 1 conversation" with the viewer is really interesting as an interstitial. Overall I think some sort of sound to help hit the key points of the conversation alongside the video would be very helpful in conveying the important information.
ReplyDeleteThe animation is brief, but very impactful. Given more time, I would maybe add in a few more moments like the foglit scene.
